Todd Clark Collection
Comments:
The Henry County Press of February 24, 1869, mentioned a petition by William R. Harkness and others for $300 to build a bridge east of the schoolhouse in Winfield. That bridge washed out in the flood of 1869. A petition was filed at the September for a replacement bridge which was reported as completed on January 3, 1870.
