Comments:
Originally built as a boxed pony truss, it was fully roofed around 1878. It was partly destroyed by floods and rebuilt in 1832 and 1843. A sidewalk was added to the downstream side. This area was once known as Norridgewock Falls. Destruction of the bridge was due to a freshet December 15, 1901.
