Taylors Falls Bridge over the Merrimack River in Nashua, NH. (1827-1881)
Richard E. Roy Collection

Comments:
Built privately by a group of investors for $12,000. Passage between Dunstable and Nottingham West (renamed Hudson) was made much easier with the opening of this bridge. Tolls for this bridge were charged according to the type of traffic. In 1854 this bridge became a public right of way, owned jointly by the two towns.
