Comments:
Northumberland County #60 and Columbia County #34. Also known as William Kreigbaum's (Krigebaum/Krickbaum) Grist and Sawmill. According to Northumberland County Courthouse records, Kreigbaum was the name of an adjacent landowner. Cost $732. "William Kreigbaum's (actually spelled Krigebaum on the map) Grist and Sawmill" Bridge, courtesy of Northumberland County Landowner Map, 1858. Per The Columbian (Bloomsburg), July 21, 1876, "BRIDGE LETTING. - Will be let on the premises, on Monday, July 14th, 1876, at 10 o'clock a.m., over South Roaringcreek, on the county line between Columbia and Northumberland counties at a point near Krickbaum's mill, a wooden brace covered bridge, 50 feet span, 16-10/12 from out to out. Abutments 18 feet at bottom, 17 at top, and 8 feet high, two wing walls to be 10 feet, and two 15 feet long. Pland can be seen on the day of letting or at the office. By order of Commissioners of Northumberland and Columbia counties, ATTEST: WM. KRICKBAUM, Clerk. Commissioners' Office, Bloomsburg, July 10, 1876.-2w."
