Comments:
County #167. The Fowlersville Bridge was built in 1886 by Charles King (Krug, another source) for $397.00 as a single span Queenpost Truss with a length of 40'3", a clear span of 30' and a 14'1" roadway. It was located in North Centre Township, oriented east-southeast to west-northwest on Golf Course Road (SR1015-LR19039) until it was relocated about 2.32 miles east-northeast to Briar Creek Park to span a tributary of Briar Creek in October, 1986. Comparing a Penn Pilot aerial photo, dated to November 20, 1938, to current Google Earth imagery suggests the covered bridge was at about the same site and alignment.
