Comments:
This bridge was closed to traffic in 1957. On December 1, 1958, it was sold to Louis Desrochers for $ 1.00. Now, the municipality of Warwick owns the bridge and land. The bridge’s name honors Minister Joseph-Édouard-Perrault. It was restored between June and August 2011 by Construction Giron at a cost of $ 390,000. An official re-opening took place on 26 September 2011. The site is landscaped with picnic tables and includes an interpretation panel inside the covered bridge.
