Chapman Bridge (original location), Oconee County, SC Built 1923-24 Moved 1969
Richard Donovan/Trish Kane Collection

Comments:
Moved 1969. It was originally built on the abutments of a 1907 steel span that was destroyed in the flood caused by the Toxaway Dam failure on August 13, 1916. The bridge was disassembled in 1969 and moved to Keowee-Toxaway State Park to make way for the Lake Keowee project. After it was moved, it was entirely in Pickens County. Coordinates are at possible location.
