Comments:
Per the Green Mountain Freeman (Montpelier), September 13, 1876, the bridge had been repaired. Per The Enterprise and Vermonter (Vergennes), October 19, 1916, the covered bridge in North Ferrisburg was known as Miller bridge at the time. In 1958, this privately owned bridge was moved to its present location from North Ferrisburg, Vermont where it crossed Lewis Creek. A sign on the bridge indicates it was built 1824 however, covered bridge expert Richard Sanders Allen felt it was more likely built in the 1850's.
