Comments:
The original 1889 bridge was demolished in December 1999 and rebuilt in April-May 2000 at a cost of $300,000.00. The bridge was named for a 1790s paper mill that was one of the state's first. Rolled paper is still being processed in the building near the northwest corner of the bridge. The original 1889 bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 1973.
