Comments:
[13-14N-7W]. Unlike other covered bridges in Parke County, this one is made of white pine instead of poplar. VanFossen started construction in 1906 and completed the bridge in 1907. In 1991, the Daniels portals were changed to Britton portals and the 1906-1907 construction date was changed to solely 1906. The portal also used to include the names of commissioners, auditors, treasurer and builder. It claims to be the fourth longest single span covered bridge.
