Comments:
The State Sanatorium bridge was built for hauling coal to the Sanatorium. The State sold the property and the bridge fell into disrepair. In 2008 a $1.34 million project refurbished and moved the bridge about a mile upstream to the location of the former Adams Bridge. The project started on July 30, 2008 and was opened to traffic on December 30, 2008.
