Directions: 1.7 miles north of jct KY784 on KY 1, then just right on Frazer Rd. (CR705). North of Hopewell.

Comments:
The Oldtown bridge was completed in 1880 at cost of $4,000. The commissioners in charge of the project were J. C. Irvin, John Conley and W. A. Womack. It has withstood the floods of 1913 and 1937. It was restored in 1971 or 1972-73 by the Green Thumb Program. By 1985 the bridge was closed to traffic. In 1988, the shake roof was replaced by galvanized sheet metal and a concrete replacement bridge was built nearby. It was rebuilt circa 1998 by INTECH Engineering. Sawtooth Portals Changed Slightly. Listed on National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The bridge has vertical siding. A 1937 survey sheet exists.
