Comments:
4-panel truss. Cost $799.00. The construction date for this bridge has been noted as 1825. That comes from the Henry C. Falk files. Only 1844 is mentioned in the court house dockets. It was located in Ephrata Township on an old bypassed section of Meadow Valley Road (now T659). The old road dead ends a short distance from the southern abutment of the covered bridge. The relocated road (LR36121 - SR1020) now passes over a one span concrete bridge on new concrete abutments about 75' upstream from the old site. The southern abutment is still in fair condition, while the northern abutment and roadbed on that side are gone. The covered bridge was moved to Buck Hill Farm near the village of Kissel Hill in 1966 and now is privately owned.
