Comments:
After an accident on November 30, 1971 when a local contractor's snow plow broke through the deck, four steel beams were added followed by new concrete abutments. Timbers in chords and Queenpost braces were replaced in 1995 by Paul Ide and bridge restorer Jan Lewandoski. The original trusses were repaired in 1995. Circa 2001, the present standing-seam steel roof was installed. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 19, 1974.
